A run is surprised by what his friend Suresh placed in his hand. The former asked the latter about the thing glistening on his palm. His friend replied that it is an American Eagle coin. A run is even more surprised and his curiosity aroused even more. Suresh guessed his friend’s upcoming inquiry so he tells A run some things he knew about the American Eagle coin. A run listens intently to his friend while holding the shiny thing inside his hand. The American gold eagle is the official gold bullion of the United States, and was released by the U.S. Mint in 1986. The obverse view was designed by renowned sculptor, Augustus Saint-Gaudens. It featured Lady Liberty in full length facing towards the viewer. Her right hand holds a torch while her left hand holds an olive branch. The reverse view was engraved by another sculptor, Miley Busiek. This side featured a flying male eagle holding an olive branch with his talons. Below him is his female partner nesting together with their hatchlings. Suresh continues to tell more about the American Gold Eagle as the time passes by. A run paid even more attention.
