DDoS Attack

DDoS attacks are all too common place these days and data centers deal with them on a daily basis. A common method of attack is inundating the target machine with communication requests, so much of it that it cannot handle so many requests at all at once making it sluggish to respond and eventually crashing and cease to operate. In other terms the attack will overload the machine and use up all of its resources to where it can no longer function normally. Denial of service attacks are violations of Internet proper use policy and are violations of the law. Perpetrators of such attacks are very often apprehended and prosecuted for DDoS Attacks.
